Revolutionizing with Google Web stories

Revolutionizing with Google Web stories

From Facebook to Instagram, YouTube, and now Google, the concept of watching tappable stories is taking social media by storm. Snapchat was the first one that introduced us to this idea. This is a brilliant update and it will definitely help the users to spend more time on Google products as they can easily see what people are uploading, watching, and engaging with.

Google is naming the feature, Web Stories and the unique feature here is that you can now post the stories on your own website or webpage. One can also view Google Web Stories in a Google search, in Google images, or through the Google Discover app, available on Apple and Android devices.

Isn’t it revolutionizing the concept of social media?

Here’s how you can create a Google Web Story!

  • Well, you need to first think about your brand’s story and create a storyboard. There’s no better way to connect with customers than telling stories. It’s how Disney got kids to climb aboard a magical ride through the jungle.
  • CTA (Call-To-Action), you can include links, calls to action, and Google AdWords in your Google Web Stories.

Google web stories are tricky. They’re code-heavy! If you have a coding engineer on your team, they may be able to create the story for you, but they need to be familiar and comfortable with the AMP framework. If you want to start exploring that route, AMP does have a lot of documentation to support creators—but if not, there are tools out there.

There are two ways to go about it. Since a large number of websites on the internet are WordPress built, you can simply integrate the plugin and create one. You may also access their templates and go creative.

Or you can use specific websites that help you create one such as Newsroom AI or Make Stories.

Benefits

Stories have a unique ability to evoke emotion and drive behavior.

Stories can tell a better story than images or text alone, and emojis aren’t always necessary. With this update, you can now upload videos taken with your iPhone or Android phone, share moments from recent events, and embed them into posts in the same way that images and links can.

Improve Google Ranking

You may or may not be aware, but Google has a person behind each of its search results. That person is called “Googlebot” and they work hard all day and night to do cool things like serve you the most relevant results for your search queries and ensure that the ads that appear next to your search results are relevant to you.

Interactive Website

Google web stories are a new way to make your website look more responsive, fun, and immersive. You can use them to tell your story in a completely different way.

Storytelling is an effective way to reach a larger audience, especially in today’s digital world. Stories are powerful, and customers want to be able to relate to them.

Language Barrier

Stories are the universal language of people. People remember stories much more than they make facts, figures, or lists of instructions. But how can this be used to your advantage? Learn how to create and tell stories that get people involved and engaged with your brand.

Conclusion

The main objective of Google Web Stories is to educate fans and followers about your company, product, or service. Your stories can show the world why you do what you do – where you started, how it all started, and the talent, skill, and creative genius that keeps everything running. While traditional advertising methods are great for providing a brief glimpse of who you are, Google Web Stories allow you to expand on that same idea with rich detail beyond what a sound byte or one-minute commercial could ever fit. The videos are short-form episodic content that can easily include products or services as well as staff members. For fans and followers, this provides an even deeper understanding of your brand; part of the fun is seeing how your company interacts with people, ideas, and events all over the world.
